May 2022 -
Tapiis is a mobile app that provides details of bars and dance clubs in Costa Rica as well as information about current deals, prices, music genre played and available parking lots. I created this project in view on the fact that many collegues usually when they go off work often prefer to enjoy their free time and gather with friends or co-workers getting drinks in a pleasurable atmosphere. For this reason I wanted to go over ways that can make the experience of having fun feasible.
Problem
When it comes to choose the best place to have drinks with friends there is no existing mobile platform in Costa Rica that provides the convenience and ease of having key information about bars and dance clubs.

The solution

User Research

I conducted a survey using Google forms to analyze the potencial needs of users and to determinate the scope of the research.

User Persona

I created a persona that could portray the characteristics of the ideal user group based on the information gathered from the results of the survey.

User Flow

Following the creation of the User Persona I carried on with the making of the user flow.

Information Architecture

After defining the user flow and collecting the insights from the results of the cuantitative research I carried out an IA to have a better foundation and a clear idea of the features and functionality desired of the app.

High Fidelity Wireframes

Based on the outcome from the information architecture I proceeded with the design of the HI-FI Wireframes so that usability tests can be perfomed. I mainly focused on 4 main segments: Home, Favorites, Search and Profile.

Usability Testing

Final Design

After collecting the results from the usability testing I applied the changes suggested to the final design.
